Happy New Year! Shana Tova! PEACE with Penny is excited that on October 3rd, after the High Holy Days, we’ll be opening SEASON 5, when Penny S. Tee interviews Brian Reeves of the Alliance for Middle East Peace.
At PEACE with Penny, we’re looking forward to starting our fifth season! We interview Israeli and Palestinian Peace organizations. I know what you’re thinking, must be a short series. But seriously, there are literally hundreds of these Peace organizations working together at the grassroots level, many for decades.
In this season, we’ll continue interviewing Israeli and Palestinian Peace organizations working together at the grassroots level. These organizations are using a variety of approaches to promote peace, from education and sports to medicine and the arts.
We believe that the voice of reason should be louder than the extremists that we see on our TV sets. Don’t you? We want to show the world that there is hope for peace in the Middle East.
We’re committed to giving a platform to the organizations that are working to make that dream a reality.

We’re looking forward to beginning SEASON 5 with our longtime friends, the Alliance for Middle East Peace or (ALLMEP). ALLMEP was instrumental in having the United States Congress allocate the Nita M. Lowey Middle East Partnership for Peace Act (MEPPA), which provides $250 million for Israeli and Palestinian Peace organizations over five years. In fact, during SEASON 5, PEACE with Penny has scheduled some of the first-year MEPPA grantees to share their stories of how they’re using this support to make a difference.
Additionally, Brian Reeves of ALLMEP will discuss their 2023 Unite the Field conference held recently, and we’re anxious to hear what happened when hundreds of Peacebuilders, policymakers, diplomats, and philanthropists gathered at the Jerusalem International YMCA for a full day of workshops, panels, and networking opportunities.
