On Tuesday’s episode of PEACE with Penny we have the pleasure of speaking with Mario Schejtman, the founder of Challenge, an Israeli NGO, formed in 2010 to promote Conflict Transformation within both the Israeli and Palestinian arenas. They’ve worked on many projects bringing Israelis and Palestinians together, working on Peace.

Conflict Transformation is an innovative approach that helps to identify the different layers in the dynamic of a conflict and provides practical tools to reduce the suffering through creativity, empathy, and non-violence. Academics have studied the conflict, taken theoretical methods and analysis, and applied it to understand the complexities and nuances of the conflict, and implemented practical approaches in the field.
