Are you interested in learning from an award-winning Peace activist with decades of experience working on Peace between Israelis, Palestinians, Jews, Muslims, Christians and others? We were too, and so PEACE with Penny is excited to share Penny S. Tee’s interview with Rabbi Dr. Ron Kronish.
Rabbi Dr. Ron Kronish was awarded the Interreligious Friendship group award given by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in 1999 and was instrumental in meetings with Pope John Paul II bringing together Jews and Catholics and helping to acknowledge and heal wounds of the past. He is the Founding Director of the Interreligious Coordinating Council in Israel (ICCI), which he directed for 25 years. He has been a main driver in interfaith dialogue and Peace activism within, and outside Israel. It is one thing to want Peace in Israel, but to actually do the work through dialogue between Jews, Muslims, Christians and others in the middle of a war zone in Israel and the Palestinians territories, that takes courage. He is now retired, a noted educator, author, lecturer, writer, speaker, blogger, consultant, the editor of 5 books and the writer of his own, “The Other Peace Process: Interreligious Dialogue, a View from Jerusalem.
Rabbi Dr. Ron Kronish has spent his career teaching the Golden Rule of treating others the way you would wish to be treated. The words are straight forward, implementing them can be a challenge. We hope you enjoy listening to our conversation with this world-renown Peace activist. May We All Live in Peace, שלום and سلام.
