Lots to Update You All on!

Sorry, that I have not been able to update my own website in far too long. It wasn’t intentional, there were bugs due to changes WordPress had made which prevented me from doing so, and with my lack of technical knowledge, as well as a packed schedule, I’m happy to say I can post again, so let me catch you up.

This did not mean that I wasn’t very busy.

Happy Passover! A number of Peace Activists, including me, worked very hard to put together a Peace Haggadah and I helped co-host the Peace Seder using it on 4/7/24. If you know me, you know that participating would be irresistable regardless of the extremely short time frame to pull it together for the seventeen of us who participated.  The fifteen religious parts are all there, but for the commentaries, we have Jewish Israelis, Palestinians, Gazans, diaspora Jews, it’s a beautiful collaboration, hopefully to provide a framework for interesting conversations at your Seders. There is of course, a disclaimer at the beginning of the Peace Haggadah, that says the writers are only responsible for their own writing, so that we hoped that they wouldn’t be “blamed,” if someone said something they didn’t agree with. Even so, that wasn’t always the case as today’s post will indicate. Here is the Times of Israel Blog I wrote about it:  https://blogs.timesofisrael.com/peacefully-walking-the-tightrope-of-the-israeli-palestinian-conflict-isnt/

The next posts will include how to use the Peace Haggadah, and the edited version of our Peace Seder recording. Although Passover is almost over, I hope you have time to take a look at the Peace Haggadah, and it can give you some ideas. We intend to do have a Peace Seder annually and hope you will join us. Now that we have a whole year to plan.

For now, I apologize, that it has taken so long to catch you all up, but here we go…
